When I was in SF Megan and I talked about her gifs and look she is doing GREAT!!! I used to bind my zines and sketchbooks like this. I taught myself with this video.

Bookbinding
Why?Bookbinding let’s you stitch your stories together. Like papermaking, bookbinding has a long history of being an excellent resource for recording thoughts. To bind a book you simply need to attach pages together. Stitching techniques can be as decorative as you’d like, or as simple as a staple. Binding your own book means you can bind your own sketchbook, and no artist should be without a sketchbook.
What else?Bookbinding gets us thinking about the sequence of things – the cover, the beginning, the middle, and the end of the book. Construct your own narrative of a real (or imagined!) event by writing, illustrating, and binding your story. More curriculum connectors can be found here.

Some more pics in high res, because I love this day already

We made some music at our apartment, yesterday. I am usually afraid to sing in front of other people, but I found the right songs. It was awesome. My voice sounds surprisingly good with an acoustic guitar in a calm & relaxed environment.

This is me thinking about new ideas. Ummmmmm…

    Art by Sask featuring lucillemichieli

I am following Lucille for a while now, I love the “petite” things she is crafting and her illustrations. I followed her blog, when I saw the rabbit ears for kids on my dash. The best product I’ve ever seen. Very emotional, careful, so French. I asked Lucille, where I could get the tree necklace (left, egg, cream, color) and I found the most beautiful shop I’ve ever seen. I already want 3 of the necklaces. Gosh I need to work a lot to make this happen!
